Scholarship Description

Applicants for the Texas Public Education Grant Program must be Texas residents, non-residents, or foreign students who are able to show financial need and must register for the Selective Service unless exempt from this requirement. Each institution may set its own priorities in making awards to undergraduate or graduate students; to full- or part-time students. Public colleges or universities in Texas make TPEG awards from their own resources. Only in-state (Texas) colleges or universities may participate in the program. Only public colleges or universities participate in the program (no private, non-profit or proprietary colleges or universities). To apply, applicants must complete the FAFSA.
