Scholarship Description

The purpose of the Catherine G. Jurgemeyer Memorial Scholarship is to reward one deserving high school senior whose body of work, both inside and outside the classroom, has demonstrated a special dedication to Law-Related Education with academic excellence. The requirements of this reward are quite rigorous, and we are looking for that outstanding student who meets or exceeds the criteria and deserves to be recognized.

To be eligible, student must: Be a high school senior (including homeschooled students) planning to attend an accredited four-year college; Student must have a GPA of 3.5 (or equivalent) or higher; Submit a 500-750 word essay explaining "The Importance of Law-Related Education in Today's Society" and must complete the online application, submit a copy of their latest transcript, a copy of their college resume, copies of their SAT/ACT scores and at least two letters of recommendation. Students must be a United States citizen.
