Scholarship Description

The World Trade Association of Philadelphia’s (“WTA”) is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to qualified college-bound graduating high school students and full-time college students focused on Logistics & Supply Chain. Our mission is to foster a professional appreciation and understanding of world trade in our youth. The WTA will award at least one (1) scholarship of a minimum of $1,000 towards college tuition for the chosen candidate(s). Applicants will be judged based on the quality of their essay submission, their academic performance, and their involvement in community activities.

Award(s) will be presented at the Annual Banquet in September. Applicant must be a college-bound high school senior or a full-time student enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program in traffic, transportation, supply chain management, or logistics. The applicant must be a child, grandchild, or resident stepchild of an active WTA member or student member of the WTA. Student membership is free and recommended for application.
