Scholarship Description

NFPA will award annual scholarships to paralegal students in the United States. To be eligible for the NFPA Student Scholarship, applicants must: be a full or part-time student enrolled in a paralegal program; demonstrate and maintain a B-average; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate extracurricular activities and/or community service; and demonstrate active participation in paralegal program clubs or activities. The winner will be notified of the award by early September.

All applications must be submitted via the online form on or before the deadline. No applications will be accepted via mail, fax or email. The application must include: two references; a letter of recommendation from the program director; a transcript; a record of participation in extracurricular and paralegal activities; a statement of financial need; and an essay on an assigned topic. Scholarship winners are asked to keep their achievement confidential until the award has been given.
