NASA MUST Scholarship Program


MUST – Motivating Undergraduates in Science & Technology.

The NASA MUST program is open to all U.S. citizens, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) discipline at a college or university that is accredited in the United States are eligible for the MUST funding opportunity.

MUST Program Recipients will be awarded half of tuition costs (not exceeding $10,000) and will include a mentorship program, academic support system and other resources and networks from the Hispanic College Fund (HCF), Society of Hispanic Engineers (SHPE) and the United Negro College Fund Special Programs (UNCFSP). MUST Scholars will also receive a $5,000 stipend for a summer internship at a NASA facility.

To win a MUST scholarship you must be

-pursuing a degree in science, engineering, technology, or mathematics
-be a U.S. citizen
-be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the coming academic year
-be a rising freshman, sophomore, junior or transfer student attending or enrolling in an accredited U.S. higher education institution as a full-time student
-have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
