The Kansas Teacher Service Scholarship is designed to encourage talented students to enter the teaching profession and teach in Kansas in specific curriculum areas or in underserved areas of Kansas.

Kansas Association of Broadcasters Scholarship

The Kansas Association of Broacasters will make available several thousand dollars annually in scholarship awards for tuition and books. Applicant must be a Kansas resident and must attend or plan to attend (next fall semester) a Kansas post-secondary institution (two-year or four-year college or vo-tech/trade school.) If attending a four-year college, applicant must enter their junior year or above; if attending a two-year school, applicant must enter their sophomore year. Additionally, applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a broadcast or related curriculum and must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each semester the scholarship is in effect. The applicant must have a grade-point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.

Kansas State Scholars

Kansas State Scholars are Kansas residents who receive State Scholar designation in their senior year of high school. Criteria include having taken the ACT Assessment between April of the sophomore year and December of the senior year, AND completing the Kansas Scholars Curriculum. The 7th semester cumulative GPA and curriculum data are provided by high school officials to the Board of Regents in March.
