Foundation/Scholarships
The Flinn Foundation offers top high school graduates from Arizona full-ride scholarships
to college.

U.S. Army/Montgomery G.I. Bill plus the Army College Fund (MGIB/ACF)
Depending on length of enlistment and job, students who join the army will be able
to earn up to $73,836 for their college education. During their first year of service,
they will have to contribute $100 per month to the fund.

Science Talent Search-Scholarships
High school seniors can participate in a research project competition that culminates
in a trip to Washington D.C. for finalists. Forty winners will receive computers
and scholarship prizes ranging from $5,000 to $100,000.

Society of Automotive Engineers-SAE/University of Arkansas Fayetteville-SAE Engineering
Scholarship
Students who are in their final year of high school and plan to major in mechanical
engineering at the University of Arkansas can apply for this $500 per year, four-year
scholarship. Awards will be based on SAT/ACT scores, GPA and extracurricular activities.

Rotary Foundation of Rotary International/Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarship
The Rotary Foundation will award Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships in the amount
of $24,000 ($12,000 per year for two years) to select students who wish to study
abroad.
- America's Junior
Miss/Scholarships & Awards
Female high school seniors may participate in America’s Junior Miss competitions
to win money for college. More than $150,000 was awarded at the 2007 finals, with
the first-place winner receiving a total of $54,000 in scholarship money.
- Fannie &
John Hertz Foundation/Fellowships
Doctoral students in the applied sciences and engineering may be eligible for Hertz
Foundation fellowships that can cover tuition for up to five years and provide stipends
worth between $3,500 and $36,000.
- Maryland
Higher Education Commission-State Scholarship Admin./Loan Assistance Repayment Program-Primary
Care Physicians
Primary care physicians and medical residents in a residency programs that specialize
in primary care may be eligible to apply for this $25,000 to $30,000 per year scholarship.
Students must be graduates of a college in Maryland or a medical school.
- Micron
Science and Technology Scholars Program
Six high school seniors will be awarded scholarships of $25,000 after winning this
merit-based competition. One male and one female student will be selected from Idaho,
Utah and Virginia.
