The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund
The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund is considered "The Golf Charity of Massachusetts"
and is one of the largest independent scholarship organizations in New England.
The Ouimet Fund was founded in 1949 and since that time has awarded over $14.2 Million
in need-based college tuition assistance scholarships. Ouimet Fund applicants must
have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies or helpers in pro shop
or course superintendent operations in Massachusetts. The Ouimet Scholarship is
competitive, with applicants evaluated based upon golf service, academic excellence,
character and financial need.

The Christian A. Herter Memorial Scholarship Program
The Christian A. Herter Memorial Scholarship Program is a state-supported program
whose mission includes providing educational opportunities to Commonwealth students
who demonstrate academic promise and desire to attend post-secondary institutions.
Each year, 25 students in the 10th and 11th grades are selected to receive awards
of up to 50 percent (50%) of their calculated need at the college of their choice
within the continental United States.

The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts
The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts administers 75 scholarship and
loan funds available to students from Western Massachusetts. Scholarship and loan
funds help students of the Pioneer Valley achieve their maximum potential by making
higher education available without regard to financial circumstance. They also help
supply the eductaed citizenry that is essential to the health of the region. Through
a competitive award process, expert community volunteers insure that limited resources
are provided to those most deserving of their assistance.
