following Minnesota scholarships are by no means the only scholarship opportunities

The Minnesota Achieve Scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible Minnesota
students who complete a qualifying secondary school program and are attending a
Minnesota institution. Eligible students can receive a $1,200 award to be paid in
two equal payments with second payment made after completion of the first term.

The Minnesota Academic Excellence Scholarship helps students who have demonstrated
outstanding ability, achievement, and potential in one of several subjects: English
or creative writing, fine arts, foreign language, math, science, or social science.
Students must enroll at a nonsectarian public or private Minnesota college or university
to receive this award. Renewable scholarships of up to the full amount of tuition
at a public university in the state are available through this program.

The Minnesota Public Safety Officer's Survivor Grant provides educational benefits
to dependent children and the surviving spouse of a public safety officer killed
in the line of duty on or after January 1, 1973.

The Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program provides money to help Native American
students pay for their higher education. Scholarships are available to eligible
American Indian students who are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full
or three-fourths time. To qualify, students must:
- Have one-fourth or more Indian ancestry
- Be a resident of Minnesota
- Be a high school graduate or have a GED certificate

To be eligible for the White Earth Scholarship Program, students must be an enrolled
member of the White Earth Band of Chippewa (descendents ineligible). Eligible students
must attend an accredited post-secondary institution and must not have defaulted
on any student loans.
Students that will be attending a post-secondary institution outside Minnesota must
be seeking a degree or diploma in a program that is at least 2 years in length.
There are no exceptions. Eligible students who qualify for this scholarship can
receive up to $4,500 per institutional calendar year.
