NRAEF Academic Scholarships for Undergraduate Students


The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) awards scholarships starting at $2,000 to college students who are studying culinary arts and food service management at accredited culinary schools, colleges, or universities.

Application Qualifications
To qualify for a scholarship, you must:
· Be a citizen or permanent resident* of the United States of America OR
be a resident of American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
· Be a college student who is currently enrolled full-time or substantial part-time (minimum of 9 credit hours) in an accredited culinary school, college, or university
· Have completed at least one grading term of your college or post-secondary program
· Be enrolled for two consecutive semesters or not be entering your last semester before graduating.

3. Submit the application online
4. Follow the online printing instructions carefully. You will not be able to return to your application and print at a later time.
5. Complete required essays. Essays must be typed.
6. Gather required documentation (see Required Documentation)
