New Jersey Scholarships & Grants
College debt is a difficult reality for many students, but it doesn’t have to be.
With so many financial aid opportunities available to future and current college
students, finances don’t have to stand in the way of a college education. In fact,
just living in the state of New Jersey can make students eligible for scholarships
and grants. By using your state of residence or college attendance as a search criterion,
Scholarships.com can help you find the money you need to pay for a college education.
The college scholarships below offer a sample of the financial aid opportunities students
may find at Scholarships.com. For additional New Jersey scholarships, as well as
awards available to students living outside of the state, you can
conduct a free college scholarship search at Scholarships.com.
HESAA New Jersey World Trade Center Scholarship
The New Jersey World Trade Center Scholarship has been established to aid the dependent
children and surviving spouses of New Jersey residents who were killed in the terrorist
attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001, or who died as a result
of injuries received in the attacks, or who are missing and officially presumed
dead as a direct result of the attacks. Those incurring the full-time cost of attendance
at an eligible institution, having lost the financial resources of a parent or spouse,
are deemed to have financial need. Qualifying individuals will receive up to $6,500
per academic year, not to exceed the actual tuition, fees, room and board charged.
Scholarship amounts may also change as a result of changes in program funding and
student’s other available financial assistance. Scholarships will apply to both
in-state andout-of-state institutions.
