Nurses Educational Funds Graduate Nursing Scholarships
Nurses Educational Funds, Inc. (NEF) is a not-for-profit organization which seeks
and distributes funds to baccalaureate-prepared registered nurses who are in need
of scholarship assistance for graduate study - Masters and doctoral degrees.
Criteria for the Scholarship Awards include:
- A registered nurse;
- A member of a professional nursing association;
- A U.S. citizen or have declared your official intention of becoming one.
- If a Master's Student: Enrolled full- or part-time in a professionally NLNAC or
CCNE accredited nursing Masters degree program, having completed a minimum of 12
credits (at the time of application) with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher
- If a Doctoral Student: Enrolled full - or part-time in a doctoral program in nursing
or a nursing related field.
NEF scholarships are given for a full academic year and are non-renewable. Completed
applications, including all support material must be received in the NEF office
no later than March l.
