Pennsylvania Scholarships
Students residing in or attending school in Pennsylvania know the hardships associated

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives’ Scholarship Program is open to all college-bound
high school seniors who plan to attend a Pennsylvania college, university or career
school. Two scholarships are awarded per year and can be renewed for up to four
years of college. The award consists of the value of one semester of tuition at
a State System of Higher Education school (approximately $2,500), but scholarship
recipients may attend any Pennsylvania public or private post-secondary institution.
Students may also be eligible to receive matching funds from SAGE Scholars, Inc.
(Savings and Growth for Education) and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance
Agency’s (PHEAA) PATH Program.

The DeSales University Tuition Opportunity Program was established to help graduates
of articulated community colleges attend DeSales University. Eligible students receive
grants equal to the amount of their tuition paid to the community college. To be
eligible, you must have completed an A.A. or A.S. degree at an articulated community
college and be entering DeSales University as a full-time traditional junior.

All applicants must be of Greek descent, U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents
of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery or Philadelphia
Counties in Pennsylvania; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester
or Salem Counties in New Jersey.
These scholarships will be awarded to students with outstanding academic qualifications
and financial need. Students must be enrolled full-time in a degree program at an
accredited four-year college or university. High school seniors accepted for enrollment
in such a degree program may also apply.

The College Opportunity Resources for Education (CORE) Scholarship is available
only to high school seniors. To qualify, you must be a resident of the city of Philadelphia,
along with at least one parent or legal guardian, and must be a graduate of a Philadelphia
public, charter, archdiocese, or private high school. Additionally, you must be
pursuing either an associate's or a bachelor's degree at one of the participating
institutions of higher education.
