The Rhode Island State Grant
The Rhode Island State Grant is a need-based grant ranging in amount from $300 to
$1400. To be eligible to receive the state grant, an applicant must be a Rhode Island
resident, a US citizen or eligible non-citizen, enroll on at least a half time basis
in a postsecondary program that leads to an undergraduate degree or certificate,
meet all the eligibility requirements of the federal student aid programs concerning
selective service, drug convictions, and loan defaults, demonstarte financial need,
and apply within our established deadline.
Rhode Island State Grants can be used at eligible schools throughout the United
States, Canada, and Mexico.

The New England Employee Benefits Council Scholarship Program
NEEBC's Scholarship Program was established to further the aims of the Council to
advance the knowledge and education of individuals in the employee benefits field,
or those aspiring to careers in employee benefits. Careers in employee benefits
include but are not limited to, careers in the actuarial sciences; ERISA and legal
aspects of employee benefits; careers in pension design and planning; work and family
issues; and careers in corporate employee benefits design, analysis and management.
Applicants must either reside or attend/plan to attend college in one of the following
states: CT, ME, ME, NH, RI, or VT.
