Ron Brown Scholar Program

Renewable scholarships awarded to African-American high school seniors only who intend to pursue full-time study at a four-year college or university in the United States. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or have a permanent resident visa card. Scholarship can be used at the college or university of choice.

Applicant must excel academically, exhibit leadership ability, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need. Required to submit an application, 2 essays, 2 letters of recommendation, high school transcript, listing of honors and activities.

Application can be printed from web site: www.ronbrown.org or obtained by writing to the Ron Brown Scholar Program office. There are 2 deadlines: November 15th and January 9th. Please see application for details.
