The Ned McWherter Scholars Program
The Ned McWherter Scholars Program is intended to encourage academically superior
Tennessee high school graduates to attend college in Tennessee. Recent Tennessee
high school seniors starting their last semester in high school who have at least
a 3.5 unweighted cumulative grade point average and scored a minimum composite score
of 29 on the ACT or the SAT equivalent, are eligible to apply.

Tennessee Hope Scholarship
HOPE Scholars Must:
- Enroll in one of the Tennessee public colleges, universities, or private colleges
listed on the back of the HOPE Scholars application form.
- Enroll within 16 months of high school graduation or completion of a home school
or GED program.
- Home school students must have been enrolled in an accredited home school program
for a minimum of two years prior to graduating.

The Nashville Athena Scholarship
The purpose of the Nashville Athena Scholarship is to enable the recipient to continue
her education to pursue her career ambition. This scholarship is warded to women who reside in middle
Tennessee only.
Two scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who live in or attend schools
located in Davidson and contiguous counties. The winning award will be for $5,000,
with the runner-up receiving $2,500.
