The Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont Mabel Mayforth Scholarship Scholarship is
available to college juniors, seniors and graduate students (college sophomores
may apply in their junior year) who are majoring in horticulture, floriculture,
landscape, design, conservation, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology or biology
with a special interest in plants, ecology and allied subjects. One $1,500 scholarship
awarded yearly to a Vermont resident for the next academic year based on academic
achievement, financial need, extracurricular activities, letter from applicant and
letters of recommendation. Previous winners and applicants are eligible to reapply.
Applicant must be a full-time student at an accredited college or University with
a GPA of 3.0 or more. Applicants may also apply for one $4,000 scholarship offered
by The National Garden Clubs,Inc.

a firm specializing in the remediation of environmentally contaminated sites, with

The Elizabeth J. Davis Scholarship was established to assist home health care professionals
with obtaining advanced degrees, as well as students seeking a bachelor’s degree
in a health profession or students seeking home health aide certification.
