Wyoming Hathaway Scholarships

The Wyoming Hathaway Scholarship provides awards of up to $1,600 per semester based on academic merit. To qualify, applicants must be Wyoming residents and graduates of a Wyoming high school (home school students and GED recipients may also apply). Award amounts are determined based on GPA and ACT score. Awards may be used at two-year or four-year public or private colleges in Wyoming. An additional need-based scholarship of up to the full amount of a student’s financial need may also be awarded.

Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange Program

The CBYX (Congress Bundestag Youth eXchange) program offers full scholarships for high school students, between the ages of 15-18 with a GPA of 3.0 or above, to spend the coming academic year living and studying in Germany. High School graduates are eligable as long as they meet the age requirements. The CBYX program seeks to foster leadership development, international and multicultural understanding, and global awareness among American youth. Applicants must also be residents of one of the following U.S. states: AK, CA, HI, ID, MT, NV, ND, OR, SD, WA, or WY.

The Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Institute Scholarship Program

The Rocky Mountain Coal Mining Institute Scholarship Program, begun in 1984, provides financial assistance to full time students in their junior and senior year who's intended career is in mining related industries. A resident from each of the RMCMI member states is selected from among acceptable institutions. The scholarships are extended through tuition credit for the recipient's senior year, or post graduate, if again recommended by the institution. Applicants must be residents of AZ, CO, MT, NM, ND, TX, UT or WY.
