The mission of the Career Academy of New York is to:(1)Provide performance-based occupational training to prepare students for entry-level employment in commercial cooking, hospitality management, and the medical assisting field.(2)Help students gain the confidence needed to perform at their highest potential and pursue life-long learning and advancement. Training at the Career Academy of New York is performance-based using simulated work environments run by industry professionals. Graduates are equipped with the practical skills needed to meet the demands of the intense culinary and hospitality workplaces of New York City. In addition, students learn teamwork, professional standards and ethical practices.
