THE PURPOSE OF ROSEDALE TECHNICAL INSTITUTE CAN BEST BE DESCRIBED AS PREPARATION OF INDIVIDUALS FOR EMPLOOYMENT IN POSITIONS RELATED TO THE TRANSPORTATION AND ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES. STUDENTS ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL ARE ASSUMED TO HAVE MADE A GENERAL SELECTION OF THE CAREER WHICH THEY WHISH TO PURSUE. THE COURSES AT THE SCHOOL ARE DIRECTED TO PREPARING THEM FOR THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THAT CAREER FIELD. ALL THE COURSES GIVEN AT THE SCHOOL ARE SELECTED AND SCHEDULED TO CONTRIBUTE TO THAT OBJECTIVE. SURVEYS OF THE INDUSTRIES WHICH EMPLOY OUR GRADUATES ARE CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE WHAT CHANGES OR MODIFICATONS SHOULD BE MADE IN OUR TRAINING TO GIVE THE BEST POSSIBLE PREPARATION FOR A CAREER IN THE FIELDS IN WHICH WE TRAIN. POLICIES OF THE SCHOOL ARE DETERMINED TO A LARGE EXTENT BY THE REQUIREMENTS OF EMPLOYERS WHO HIRE OUR GRADUATES. THESE POLICIES ARE DETERMINED WITHIN A FRAMEWOK OF THE REGULATIONS OF THE VARIOUS GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES WHICH REGULATE THE SCHOOL. IMMPUT FOR POLICY DETERMINATIONS ALSO COMES FROM VARIOUS COMMITTEES MADE UP OF STUDENTS, FACULTLY, STAFF MEMBERS AND INDUSTRY REPRESENTATIVES.
