Scholarship Description

The Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina (ACBH) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the interests of Bosnian Americans and works to improve relations between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). ACBH advocates for a democratic, multi-ethnic and indivisible BiH and one of our primary goals is advancing the integration of BiH into the EU and NATO, as well as ensuring that the aggression against BiH and its people is never repeated.

The Bosnian-American Study Abroad in Turkey Scholarship is given to Bosnian American students who are full-time students at an accredited U.S. college or university in good standing, and have been accepted to a study abroad program in Turkey. The objectives of the program are for Bosnian American students to foster friendship, understanding and cooperation between the United States and Turkey, and to explore the historical and cultural links between Turkey and Bosnia Herzegovina.
