The Love For Humanity Scholarship Program “New Horizons” is offered to college students that may not be able to finish their college education due to economic hardship. The scholarship application window is open from 15th April to 15th May every year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a an accredited 4-year college or university
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Be in danger of dropping out of school caused by factors outside of the student's control (losing the primary household provider, family’s financial challenges, etc.)
Application Process
- Complete the online application form
- Compose and submit an essay
Applicants will be required to compose and attach an essay of up to 800 words based on the prompt " What/ Who motivates you when things are challenging? Be specific and give examples".
Love For Humanity is a volunteer based Non-Profit Organization dedicated to alleviating hardships and difficult times by helping people in need with food, toiletries, clothing, education and job networking, among others.
