The True Homes Foundation Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship that will be annually awarded to 10 rising juniors (or rising seniors with a fifth year) pursuing a degree in Construction Management in the program with an emphasis on residential construction. In addition to the scholarship, all recipients will have the opportunity to accept a summer internship with True Homes in one of our seven markets across the Carolinas. The scholarship is primarily for 4- year construction programs in universities within North and South Carolina
Applicants must be a student who is:
*Enrolled in a 4-Year Construction Program
*A minority and/or female minority
*In good standing in the program as demonstrated by GPA (passing) and Administrators (participation and performance).
*Demonstrating a pursuit of residential construction as evident by classwork, club participation, NAHB Student Chapter involvement, Women in Construction, Job experience, and any other similar evidence.
Documentation Requirements for Nomination:
*Cover Letter including Name, Address, and brief background. 1-page maximum.
*Recommendation Letter from Dean of Program or equivalent. 1-page maximum.
*Documentation of current GPA, Class Schedule, and previous classes
*Professional Resume. 1-page maximum.
