Mia Howard was a 17 year old Senior at Allen Park High School when her life was cut short by a drunk driver in September of 2021. Mia was a very kind, loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and volunteer work. She was kind and generous to everyone she met. She had a special connection with animals and children. Mia's father, Denny Howard, started this scholarship to carry her legacy on and continue to spread her generous nature in their extended community. Scholarships worth $2,500 will be awarded to graduating Seniors in the downriver community. Eligible applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA.
