AAAE Foundation Scholarship
The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) is the largest professional organization for airport executives in the world, representing thousands of airport management personnel at public use airports nationwide. AAAE's primary goal is to assist airport executives to better perform their responsibilities to the airports and communities they serve.
In conjunction with AAAE's goal, the AAAE Foundation was formed to support the educational endeavors of students in aviation, airport management and other curricula. To date, donations to the AAAE Foundation to support scholarships have been accepted from the six AAAE chapter organizations, AAAE corporate members and private individuals. Donations are welcomed from both AAAE members and nonmembers throughout the year.
Since January 1991, the American Association of Airport Executives, through the AAAE Foundation has offered a $1,000 scholarship to a number of students at schools offering aviation degrees.
We are asking the scholarship committees of accredited colleges and universities across the United States to recommend one student from their institution for consideration. The student must be enrolled full-time in an aviation/airport management program, have reached a junior class level or higher and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00/4.00 (or equivalent).
Recipients will be selected by Career Opportunities Through Education, Inc. (Coté) a national non-profit scholarship service organization. Selections will be based on scholastic achievement, financial need and extracurricular and community activities that the student is to list on the enclosed scholarship application form.
