CENTC Undergraduate Summer Research in Catalysis
Learn more about the chemistry of tomorrow and about yourself through the CENTC* Undergraduate Summer Research Program in Catalysis June 13th – August 19th.
As a CENTC Summer Research Fellow you will:
- Explore the frontiers of research in catalytic chemistry
- Conduct research as part of a collaborative research center
- Receive $5,000 stipend plus compensation for travel and housing
- Have the opportunity to attend an informal scientific meeting in Seattle and present your
work to other CENTC scientists.
This is an in-residence program in which students select from a list of 14 different investigators across the country.
The Center for Enabling New Technologies Through Catalysis* (CENTC) is a NSF Center for Chemical Innovation that focuses on the use of catalysis to develop new chemical processes that will have significant societal impact. Research projects include devising new ways to produce
clean, efficient fuels and ways to convert renewable resources to fuels and useful chemicals.
