CPO Scholarship Fund
The CPO Scholarship Fund awards are set aside for dependents of United States Navy Chiefs, Senior Chiefs, and Master Chiefs in any of the following catagories:
- Active Duty
Applicant must be starting their first year of college. Currently, candidates eligible for scholarship awards are spouses and children (natural born, adopted, or stepchildren) of Active, Retired, and Reserve; Chief, Senior Chief and Master Chief Petty Officers.
Candidates submitting scholarship applications must be either graduates of accredited high schools (or equivalent educational institution) or have earned a General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Candidates must intend to enter or be accepted to a college or university to complete the curriculum prescribed in order to graduate with an AA, BA, or BS degree. Candidates may also be currently attending a college or university. Scholarship awards shall be made on the basis of scholastic proficiency, character, and all-around ability. The awards may be used to supplement other scholarships or grants, and are outright grants for an academic year.
