Texas Retired Teachers Foundation Student Scholarship

The Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) will award ten $500 scholarships for the upcoming school year to students who are relatives of a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) and who are pursuing an undergraduate, masters or doctoral degree in education at a Texas university or college. Students may download the application from the TRTF website beginning November 1st. All applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on February 23rd. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

To be eligible for this award, applicant must:
- be enrolled in a university or college in Texas for the upcoming school year
- be a relative of a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA)
- be pursuing an undergraduate, masters or doctoral degree in education
- submit his or her application and transcripts by 5:00 p.m. on February 23rd

Interested applicants can find additional information in the "Scholarships & Grants" section of the Foundation website or by calling the Foundation office at 512-476-1622 ext. 107 or 1-800-880-1650 and asking for Cindee Sharp.
