AEMP Foundation Scholarships

In these difficult economic times, job security is now, more than ever, on young graduates’ minds. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in three short years the demand for heavy equipment technicians will grow 12.4% annually. Anticipating this technician shortage, the AEMP Foundation has created a scholarship program which awards numerous two-year scholarships to students interested in becoming heavy equipment technicians. The goal of the scholarship program is to introduce students to the professional world of heavy equipment management and maintenance and get them excited about the heavy equipment industry.

All students with a 2.0 high school cumulative GPA are eligible. There are no regional requirements and students from all over the country are encouraged to apply. The scholarships may be used at the student’s choice of college/tech school that has a heavy equipment technician program.

The AEMP Foundation is seeking students who are motivated, responsible, and have a strong capacity for achievement.
