AREMA Michael W. & Jean D. Franke Family Foundation Scholarship

The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the Michael W. and Jean D. Franke Family Foundation Scholarship, the Paul I. and Elena H. Cohen Scholarship, and the Larry L. Etherton Scholarship, to railway-engineering students at the University of Illinois in the Engineering Department at Urbana-Champaign.

The Michael W. and Jean D. Franke Family Foundation Scholarship is in the amount of $4,000.

Applicants for these three scholarships must be:
- A student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with at least a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- An undergraduate or graduate student in the engineering department
- Able to be interviewed by the AREMA scholarship committee
- Interested in railway engineering
