Tidewater AGC Educational Scholarships

The Tidewater AGC Educational Scholarships provide funds to help qualified students advance their careers in the construction industry. An average of three scholarships per year have been awarded in the past for a collective total of $3,000 annually.

General eligibility and application requirements are as follows:
- Applicant must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university, vocational technical or community college/continuing education program
- Applicant must be pursuing a construction-related degree or a tradesman journeyman classification, business degree or engineering degree
- Applicant must be one of the following: 1.Employed by a Tidewater district AGC member firm, 2. An immediate family member of an employee of a Tidewater district AGC member firm, or 3. A member of an AGC Student Chapter.
- Applicant must be a rising freshman, sophomore, junior or senior, or registered in a certified apprentice program

To obtain a scholarship application or receive further information, phone Dick Moyers, AGC Tidewater District Manager, toll-free at 1-800-581-4652. Applications must be received no later than November 1st.
