WPS Foundation Wayne J. Peterson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Wayne J. Peterson's outstanding contributions to the community, his instrumental role at Wisconsin Public Service, and his commitment to the education of young people. (NOTE: Applicants that have completed an application for the College Scholarship and are planning to attend Marquette University or St. Norbert College and major in Engineering or Business will also automatically be considered for the Wayne J. Peterson scholarship and need make no further application.)

To be eligible for this award, applicant must:
- Be the son/daughter of a customer with a primary residence in WPS territory, or the son/daughter of an employee of WPS
- Attend Marquette University or St. Norbert College, majoring in engineering or business
- Complete their high school graduation requirements in the 2011-2012 academic year
- Enter college by September of the award year
- Have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
