ICON of Industry Scholarship Grant

The NEWH Icon of Industry Scholarship Award will be based upon the following criteria:
- Must exemplify the highest standards of professionalism
- Must have completed half the requirements for a degree that will lead to a career in the hospitality industry
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must have participated in an industry internship

An eligible school is defined as one that is fully accredited and will hold the scholarship moneys in trust for the student to draw down upon on an “as needed” basis without any service charges.

Qualifications:
- You must be attending an accredited institution of higher learning
- You must have completed one half of the requirements for a degree or certification in the program which you are currently enrolled
- You must show financial need
- You must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- You must have a career objective in one of the areas of the Hospitality, Interior Design, Architecture or Textile Design
- You must have participated in an internship program or similar position
