NFRW National Pathfinder Scholarship
Established in 1985 in honor of First Lady Nancy Reagan's efforts in the prevention of drug and alcohol abuse, the National Pathfinder Scholarship is awarded annually to women who are studying in a related field.
Three scholarships of $2,500 each are given to the best candidate nominated by her state Federation president and chosen by the NFRW Executive Committee. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program such as chemistry, sociology, psychology or pharmacology, with intended careers in chemical, biological, or medical research, or counseling of addicts and their families. Applicants must submit an application to their state Federation president by June 1st.
Applicants are eligible to receive the scholarship once only.
