North Carolina Space Grant Freshman/Sophomore Scholarship

The North Carolina Space Grant was established by Congress to contribute to the nation's science enterprise by funding research, education and public service projects through a national network of 52 Space Grant consortia.

Scholarship Description

Each year participants from each member university of the North Carolina Space Grant Consortium will be selected to compete for scholarships based on academic achievement, letters of recommendation and leadership qualities. Students applying for the freshman/sophomore grant can win up to $1,000.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Applicants must be classified as full-time undergraduate students pursuing degrees in engineering, technology, mathematics or science disciplines of interest to NASA at one of the eight member universities during the award period.
- Applicants must be entering freshman or sophomore during the upcoming fall semester.
- Applicants must be United States Citizens
