Alabama Commission on Higher Education/Student Grant Program

Alabama residents enrolled in independent, nonprofit Alabama colleges and universities receive financial assistanct through the Alabama Student Grant Program. This program helps bridge the differential between public and private institutions, and helps provide Alabama students an opportunity to take programs and courses at private institutions. Individual grant payments to student are significantly less than the state appropriation per student were these residents to attend public institutions in Alabama.

Applications are available from the financial aid office at the institution you plan to attend. Application deadline dates are printed on the application form.
