Beryl V. Smith Scholarship

The Beryl V. Smith Scholarship will provide a $1,000 college scholarship to college bound high school seniors who have lost a parent/legal guardian to cancer or have a parent/legal guardian who is a cancer survivor.

Through the Beryl V. Smith Scholarship, Package of Prevention will recognize outstanding young individuals who have stood up to adversity and made great strides to assist their families through the harsh realities of cancer. Their stories will enlighten others. Package of Prevention recognizes that when a parent/legal guardian is faced with cancer, tremendous stress and financial burden can be placed on the whole family. Offering this scholarship is Package of Prevention’s way of providing assistance to deserving young people who have personally been touched by a cancer crisis.
