California Hall of Fame Dreamers Challenge

The California Museum and Maria Shriver want to know … What would you do to change the world?

This is the time for innovation and creativity. This is the time for thinking outside the box and enduring obstacles. This is a time for Dreamers. And all Dreamers need a little help to get started.

$5,000 will be awarded to a graduating high school senior from both Northern and Southern California who can best explain how their dreams will change the world – in any medium they like. Students can submit artwork, a composition of music, a poem, a digital presentation, an essay … the possibilities are endless. For the rules and guidelines, check out our website.

For your own inspiration, just look at California Hall of Fame inductees athlete Tiger Woods, inventor Steve Jobs, astronaut Sally Ride, animator Walt Disney and author Alice Walker. They changed the world with their words and deeds … and were even high school seniors once upon a time.

The California Hall of Fame Dreamers Challenge is sponsored by Chevron Corporation and Accenture. The scholarship is underwritten by Comcast and in partnership with the California Department of Education and the California State Fair and Exposition.

Dream big. Be inspired. Get rewarded.
