Michael R. Mettler Memorial Scholarship

The Michael R Mettler Memorial Scholarship is presented annually to a first-, second- or third-year college student who has determined to follow an agricultural course of study.

The scholarship award is $500 per year for four years. A first-year college student could receive $2,000 over his or her college duration if an agricultural-based major is maintained. The only exception is veterinary students, unless LARGE animal husbandry is specified. Applicant must also be a Kern County, CA resident.
