State of Maine Grant Program

The State of Maine Grant program is a need-based grant program for Maine residents attending eligible colleges/universities in Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or the District of Columbia. Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time in an undergraduate program at an eligible institution. Because this is a need-based grant, applicants' EFCs must not exceed the maximum EFC set in any given year.

To apply, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by May 1st.
