The Tall Clubs International Foundation of the U.S. and Canada awards scholarships to Tall Clubs-sponsored students entering college for the first time. The minimum award amount is $1,000; students' height must be considered above-average to apply.
Scholarship Details
- Applicants do not need to be members of Tall Clubs

Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. or Canada college-bound high school senior
- Under the age of 21
- Minimum height of 5' 10" (women) or 6' 2" (men)
- If a legacy applicant, be a direct relative of a Tall Clubs member
Application Process
- Fill out the online application form
- Upload all requested materials in PDF form, including:
- 550-650 word essay
- High school transcript (official is required for finalists)
- 2 letters of recommendation, at least 1 from a teacher
- Upload a current headshot in .JPG format
- Submit your application to your local Tall Club to request sponsorship before the deadline
- Ensure your recommenders complete and submit their letters in advance of the deadline
Recipients must also complete and submit the Tall Clubs International Foundation general release form upon request. These scholarships honor Kae Sumner-Einfeldt, Virginia Linquist-Winker, Robert Rader, Carolyn Goldstein, and Charles and Doris Chickering.
