Crumley Roberts Crib to College Next-Step North Carolina Scholarship

Crumley Roberts will award five (5) non-renewable $1,000 scholarships and a laptop computer to community college students, in select counties in North Carolina based on the following:

- Applicant must be a community college student who will be transferring to an accredited four-year college or university in the upcoming fall semester; Crumley Roberts employees and their family members are not eligible to enter.
- Applicant must be attending a community college in one of the following counties: Avery, Ashe, Alleghany, Alexander, Anson, Alamance, Bladen, Buncombe, Brunswick, Burke, Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Catawba, Caldwell, Chatham, Caswell, Cabarrus, Columbus, Davie, Davidson, Duplin, Forsyth, Graham, Gaston, Guilford, Haywood, Henderson, Iredell, Jackson, Lincoln, Lee, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Mecklenburg, Moore, Montgomery, New Hanover, Onslow, Orange, Pender, Polk, Rutherford, Richmond, Rockingham, Randolph, Rowan, Swain, Surry, Stokes, Stanly, Transylvania, Union, Watauga, Wilkes, Yancey or Yadkin
- Applicants will be judged on a written essay.
- Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA or better to apply.
- Applicants must also provide three letters of recommendation including one from a family member, one from an educator/teacher and one from a friend or other community member.

The application may be printed out from our website beginning in January. Incomplete applications will not be considered and all essays must be 1,000 words or less. Applicants must also send an official transcript from their community college, letter of intent or acceptance from the college or university, letters of recommendation, application and essay to the following address no later than March 1st:
