Ohio University Women's Club Freshman Scholarship

The Ohio University Women's Club Freshman Scholarship is for a female high school senior entering Ohio University as a freshman in the fall. Scholarship applicants must also be from a high school in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. This scholarship ranges up to full tuition value. Since 1951, more than 100 such scholarships have been awarded to OU-bound women!

In order to be eligible for this award, you must meet the following criteria:
- Earn an unweighted 3.5 accumulated GPA on a scale of 4.0 for six semesters
- Obtain at least a 25 ACT score and/or SAT score of 1140
- You must also be a female entering Ohio University as a freshman in the fall and be from a high school, technical school, etc. in the Greater Cleveland area.

Along with the completed application, the following also need be included:
- An official, sealed copy of your high school transcript (your unweighted GPA must be included)
- A copy of your ACT and/or SAT scores
- A five paragraph essay (500 words or fewer, double-spaced) which addresses five topics:
- Leadership skills
- Service to your high school
- Service to your community
- Career goals
- Reason(s) for applying to Ohio University
