Sid Richardson Memorial Fund

Those eligible to apply for a Sid Richardson Memorial Fund scholarship are direct descendants (children or grandchildren) of persons who qualified for Early Retirement, Normal Retirement, Disability Retirement, or Death Benefits from The Retirement Plan For Employees of Bass Enterprises Production Co.; or are direct descendants of persons presently employed with a minimum of three years full time service with any of the following employers:
- Sid Richardson Carbon and Energy Co. (formerly known as Sid Richardson Carbon and Gasoline Company and also formerly known as Sid Richardson Carbon Company)
- Bass Enterprises Production Co.
- Bass Brothers Enterprises, Inc.
- Richardson Oils, Inc.
- Perry R. Bass, Inc. (formerly known as Sid W. Richardson, Inc.)
- Sid W. Richardson Foundation
- San Jose Cattle Company
- City Center Development Co.
- Richardson Aviation
- Sid Richardson Carbon, Ltd. (DBA Sid Richardson Carbon Co.)
- Sid Richardson Energy Services, Ltd.( DBA Sid Richardson Energy Services Co.)
- Richardson Energy Marketing Services, Ltd. (formerly known as Richardson Products Company and Richardson Products II, LTd.)
- SRCG Aviation, Inc.
- Leapartners. L.P. (DBA Sid Richardson Energy Services Co. - JAL and formerly known as Sid Richardson Gasoline Co. - JAL)
- Barbnet Investments Co.
- City Center Development Co.
- L.P. and Sundance Square

Limited funds are available to assist in defraying the cost of college education or of vocational training. These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis according to academic achievement and financial need. Eligible candidates must return completed applications postmarked no later than March 31 in order to qualify for the coming academic year.
