English-Speaking Union Luard Scholarship

Since 1969, the English-Speaking Union has provided full junior year abroad scholarships to the United Kingdom, for academically, highly talented sophomore students attending United Negro College Fund member institutions, and Howard and Hampton Universities.

The Luard Scholarships are unique merit awards open to sophomore students pursuing a four-year degree in all major fields of study that provide: tuition, room, board, book allowance and travel expenses for their junior academic year at a British university. Candidates must excel academically (minimum 3.0 GPA), and exhibit the maturity and independence necessary for study abroad.
