AAAE Foundation Scholarship for Native Americans

The AAAE Foundation grants $1,000 each year to a number of Native American college or university students with a junior class standing or higher, who are enrolled in an aviation program and have a grade point average 3.0 or higher. Eligibility is unrelated to membership in AAAE and the program is funded by a grant from the estate of Pete Hill, A.A.E.

The following selection criteria are used: race, academic records, financial need, participation in school and community activities, work experience and a personal statement. A recommendation from the school is also required. Only one Native American student from each school is eligible to participate. Multiple recommendations from the same institution will be returned.

To obtain an application for this scholarship, please contact the scholarship or financial aid office at the college you attend. Scholarship information is usually sent to universities and colleges in early January.

If you have any questions, please contact Cindy Gunderson , Director, Membership/Accreditation & Certification Programs at cindy.gunderson@aaae.org
