Creek Nation Tribal Funds Grant

The Tribal Funds Grant will awards to enrolled citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation attending an accredited college or university with no minimum blood quantum required. The student must enroll in 12 credit hours or more for full-time and less than 12 credit hours for part-time.

The grant will award $1,000 per semester/quarter for full-time and $500 for part-time students. The total amount of awards may not exceed $2,000 per academic year for full-time students and $1,000 per academic year for part-time students.

The student must maintain a 2.5 G.P.A. to remain eligible for the program. Students with a term G.P.A. below 2.5 and at least 1.5 G.P.A. will be placed on academic probation. Those below a 1.5 G.P.A. for the term and those withdrawing without a valid medical reason shall be suspended at the end of that term.

It is the student's responsibility to furnish this office with the grades for the previous term for continuation of the award.

After verification of the student's enrollment status, awards will be sent to the student's home address. The awards may be used to supplement those that are receiving aid from another source. This program is limited to 10 semesters.
