Rocky Mountain Biological Lab REU Program
This 10-week scholarship field research program is funded by the National Science Foundation. REU students will work with RMBL Scientists to create a research project. Students will develop a testable hypothesis, gather data, analyze the data, and produce a written and oral report by the end of the program.
The award provides $600 toward travel costs, a $4,750 stipend, room, board, and tuition at the RMBL. Students should have a sincere interest in a career in field biology research. We are looking for students with the mental and intellectual maturity to commit to hard work. We will judge the application in part on financial need and on student motivation. We encourage participation by minorities currently underrepresented in biology (defined by the National Science Foundation as Black, Hispanic, and Native American). Applicants must be undergraduate students and American citizens.
