Chris Hernandez Memorial Scholarship

Chi Rho Associations, Inc., a non-profit corporation founded in 1998, announces that applications are being accepted for its annual Chris Hernandez Memorial Scholarship.

This scholarship is funded by the donations of alumni and friends of Chi Rho Fraternity and is administered by the Chi Rho Foundation. Chris Hernandez was a charter member of the Alpha chapter of Chi Rho Coed Service Fraternity located at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. His hard work and model example of a Catholic Student at Texas Tech helped develop and shape Chi Rho into a strong Catholic Service organization on the Texas Tech Campus.

To be eligible for this award, applicant must:
- Be enrolled or be accepted and have plans to attend Texas Tech University as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming school year
- Have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or better
- Be actively involved in your local Catholic Community or the Catholic Community at Texas Tech

Application, transcripts and essay must be submitted in one complete package. Applications are available by contacting the Chi Rho Foundation, P.O. Box 831716, Richardson, Texas 75083-1716. Applicants may also download forms from our website or request them via email.
