Bev Granger Memorial Scholarship

Family and friends of Bev Granger, to celebrate her life, collected contributions to establish a scholarship in her name. Not only was Bev an avid golfer, she was also an ardent tennis player and skier.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota's School of Nursing, she balanced family and career, working as an x-ray technician for 45 years and raising three children. Fishing, tennis, skiing and golf were integral to her family's life. The Granger Scholarship applicant should demonstrate how her participation in golf and other sports is woven throughout her daily pursuits, balanced with an academic discipline.

Applicants are to submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words on why you selected your major. Describe your relevant academic and professional experience to date as well as your interests, inspiration and experiences that have influenced your desire to study and work in this field. Address how golf or other sports will remain an integral part of your undergraduate experience.

Please visit the Scholarships page of the Foundation website for further information or to download an application.
